BRAZIL WORLD TOUR

Aware that the global interest in five-time FIFA World Cup winners Brazil is second to none, Kentaro, together with ISE, launched the “Brazil World Tour” to bring the likes of Ronaldinho, Kaka and Co. closer to their fans all over the globe. Since 2006, the Seleçao has faced high-profile opposition in some of the world’s most modern arenas. Their friendly games are predominantly played on the annual FIFA Friendly Match Dates against the top national teams in the FIFA rankings in big venues around the world.

Tour History

A sell-out crowd of 60,000 watched Brazil defeat Argentina 3-0 at English Premier League club Arsenal's Emirates Stadium in London in September 2006. In June 2007, some 90,000 fans were in attendance when Brazil played England in a 1-1 draw at the official opening of the new Wembley Stadium.

The Emirates Stadium hosted further glamorous friendly matches during the course of the tour, including Brazil´s clashes with Portugal, Sweden and Italy. In October 2009, the Brazil World Tour hit the Middle East as Carlos Dunga´s troops defeated England 1-0 in Doha before posting a 1-0 victory over Oman in Muscat.

On a side-note, Kentaro also organised Brazil´s famous pre-World Cup training camp in Switzerland in 2006.
